Would’ve loved to at least see them on a date out in the open idk
Actually in the novel it’s not like this but maybe due to compressing the chapters all together they have to insert that in preparation for showing the item that will reveal the future (which is not included in the novel, and sooo unnecessary to add but maybe they have to add that for the readers I guess. And one reason I think, is that there’s no side stories and they will not be able to show the smut, which is in the side stories)
Anyway they added the item to get to the plot faster (I’ll just share my disappointment because I feel like I’ve been spoiled when they did that. It was so nerve wracking in the novel because the narration is very good and is very perfect but I’ll understand because I’m sure they dont have much chapter to cover it all)
For me the smut was so unnecessary, the plot itself was interesting but I think showing them a future that they will be a couple was good because it made the mc rethink
