Where did you read the novel??

I've felt this way a bit, but i do really think it's because the ML doesn't get much screen time at first. While Xi with his lively personality shows up more
I’ve reread the novel for this no less than 5x. I really like the novel and it’s a relatively light/slice of life-y read compared to other chinese novels.
But is it just me? I want to hear the others’ opinions on this. I’ve also always thought that fl and ml doesn’t have the greatest chemistry. Don’t get me wrong, they’re cute together but I’ve always felt that there’s something lacking in their relationship. In fact, I felt like Feilu has better chemistry with Xi Xingjiang. Maybe because ml doesn’t have a lot of screen time in the beginning of the story, and the fact that the novel (at least in the beginning) isn’t really centered on romance? I’m curious if I’m the only who feels this way. What do you guys think?
