Yes. Would be a lot more satisfying to see her have some real “wins” over him or character development. My guilty pleasure is black flags but like, if the FMC can’t match his level the plot itself feels stagnant, just a cycle of cat and mouse. If one of her escapes worked and reformed him or ANYTHING it would feel more fulfilling to read, but all of these “arcs” could’ve taken place in any order because nothing really changes in the characters between it
You know, the thing with reading about black flag characters is that I need the other character to be at least a bit smart or have redeeming qualities. Our FL doesn't have much of that. Nativity is fine (for me). For example the whole knight situation was too much. She forgot way too easily? It would be nice if she acknowledged that her feelings were less love but more the attention he gave her. That's a normal thing.
It's a manhwa where you gotta stop thinking a lot.
