WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!! let me get the negative points out of the way first before i talk about how nice this was. the end of ch 3 gave me such whiplash, i just sat here and couldn't bring myself to open the next chapter for a whole 5 minutes cause i was super afraid this would turn into a disgusting rape scenario (the setup was there, everything was leading up to it). fortunately, it didn't; unfortunately, it was too dubious for my liking. the vampire agreed in the end, but i didn't like that the focus was on the strength the wolf was asserting while keeping the vampire down - it gave the whole scene a feeling of "even if the vampire had said no, the wolf could have and probably would have just physically forced him anyways". and i won't even get started on how the wolf was more than half out of his mind the entire time they had sex that first time... well... other than that (but this is just a small point), the allusion to the baby wolf having a thing for the older wolf friend gave me the fucking ick. genuinely hate that this is a thing.
now for the good pints!!! SIZE DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!! the art is great (sex positions: mwah! chefs kiss), very detailed and distinctive (although the wolf's ears were kinda insane sometimes lol). the vampire is sooooooooooooooo cute!!! his low-effort form anyways. i'm glad the wolf thought it was adorable too so we could see the low-effort form quite often. the high-effort form was okay, but nothing beats a disheveled appearance, lil freckles and droopy eyes!!! i also liked the vampire's personality - so blushy, whiny, and needy but still caring, capable, and successful! the wolf's personality was great as well, his protectiveness, obsession and need to take care of the vampire checked all the boxes. also, he's very good at dirty talk (the english translation at least made it come across not-cringy). we did get a reasonable amount of communication between the two and i'm glad even the topic of their life-spans was addressed. all in all, except for a few points, this was an enjoyable, short read
