I’m scared to read it without knowing what will happen next.
It’s a dark novel until the end. Twisted love from both sides. Volume 3 was really different, to me it felt like author just wanted to end it. I liked volume 1 & 2 more. There’s miscarriage. Uke loses his child when Empress sends men to gangrape uke. But before the rape, when they beat him, he loses his child so assault stops as men get confused and run away. Seme didn’t even know he was carrying one. It has kinda dark happy end not fluffy happy end. To me it felt like rushed ending. So I didn’t like volume 3 since it didn’t feel like it followed previous volumes and kinda felt rushed, plot wise and all and felt different. Do you want ending to be spoiled too? Like what seme does at end?
Didn’t read the manhwa coz I wanted to read novel as manhwa adaptations are often toned down. Novel offers more depth into the characters, and story, also more things that manhwa is & will be missing. It’s a dark, psychological read for those who have dark tastes (like me). It’s twisted throughout. I recommend reading the novel first if you’re looking to read something dark.
