Couldn't agree more I'm more pissed at the omegaverse than the main because aside it being a side story it still mirror the main one like how much Hojin loves this toxic aff man so much despite being treated as a literal dog for EIGHT YEARS bruhh also the story just beacome "all's well and ends well" just because he proposed?!?! Man at least let me see you suffer a little
I honestly and truly hated how the author treated Hojin's character. He was incredibly weak and spinless. He had so much potential too, especially with his emotional intelligence but when it comes to Yooseong, the author makes him act like a fucking idiot and I hate itttttt.
Yooseong treated him like shit every step of the way, especially in the omegaverse side story because it went on for 10 YEARS
We get a goofy, weak as proposal and that's supposed to make up for everything he did for the last 10 years...like are we serious right now?
This was good but goddamn it was hard to sit through, especially in the beginning. Everybody in this story needed therapy and was crazy as fuck. While I can understand why Yooseong treated Hojin the way he did in their relationship (his first ever relationship literally ended with him being betrayed by his lover, outed and exiled to America for 15 years) that doesn't mean that all the shit he did to Hojin was okay.
He quite literally ended up suffering the same fate as his mother with being abused. I see so much of myself in Hojin, it's not even funny
That being said, all of the characters were very complex and had a lot of layers to them. The side stories were peakkkkk (except the omegaverse one, that shit pissed me off)
The mom really pissed me off though. Imagine beefing with your kids at your big, grown ass age over a company.
