It was fine and cute, can't say I had a ton of expectations for a good or in-depth plot. However, I don't get where FL got the idea that ML would end up with Kay if there wasn't actually any romance novel source. In fact, he never was interested in Kay in any timeline so????
Also I feel like Kay should've gotten more characterization and participated in the finale. They just sent her off to take care of like 2 people when they're facing down the apocalypse here? OK... I would personally take all the reinforcements I could get y'know
And for all those jokes about consensual kidnapping and confinement he never did it once. I thought it was going to be a cute honeymoon joke of theirs but nope. Why even bring it up multiple times then?
