I like your perspective on this. However they keep talking about Mincheol. What about or girl, or the ML’s backstory? It feels like they’re really dragging it
right they should condense all these random scenes into one or two chapters so we can all move on
It’s not that people don’t want to follow the plot, it’s that the story has been stuck in the same cycle for too long. What’s missing is a fresh dynamic. Something like the FL running into her ex again or her new bf running into her ex, would actually move things forward and make the tension feel new again. Instead, we keep circling back to the same flashbacks over and over.
You know in most stories, the first guy is such a trashbag there's no possible redemption or even basic understanding of they're such a piece of shit. It doesn't mean Mincheol's not a piece of shit, but this way, he seems more humane. And that's one of the things I love about this story is its not just superficial or shallow. This is deep. I like these past flashbacks because these are defining points of two crucial characters. If you don't like plot, go read smut
