I can't believe I just realized this. Why did the translating team change the way Yeomin calls Taesoo? He calls Taesoo by his first name, Taesoo-ssi. He doesn't call him Mr. Yeon. It's just strange. He's still be respectful so why the unnecessary change?
They did the same (worse) for Yo-Il for "Save the Dae" or "Monday's savior". In English, they renamed him as Dae but his name is literally Yo-il lol. It does translate to "day of the week" but why change the name altogether to make an English pun? Just put a translator note?
These are some weird translating choices that are really pmo
doesnt -ssi mean Mr though so Mr Taesoo, Mr Yeonnot that big of a difference of translation ngl amey
Idk, it's still a weird choice to make. Most translations don't even put Mr or Ms anyway so why make this a different choice? Otherwise every single manhwa would be Mr. Last Name
