I feel so bad for her…I agree sometimes it gets to a point shock therapy may be needed but not like this. Telling someone they’re useless, need to wake up and that they’re a burden is one thing. It’s harsh and blunt but it’s the truth. But making your own family feel unloved, hated, disposable, constantly talking about getting rid of them? That’s something else entirely. meanness in its purest form. Even if she somehow manages to pull herself out of this one day, no one comes out of years of hearing that “normal.” It destroys your self-worth, your ability to accept love and your sense of safety around people.
