The chokehold this story has on me bro. The ending is definitely rushed (it’s hard to call it anything but a cold close), but I think it still works. It just leaves you wanting for more. You don’t get to see Yeon-woo happy and healthy after everything. The early chapters are truly a treat though. MeriG does a really wonderful job depicting Shin’s heated gazes and how attentive he is to Yeon-woo’s every move. I also love the way they drew Shin’s cold gaze softening up the moment he realizes it’s Yeon-woo standing before him.
And I’m just really in love with a yandere that didn’t hurt or rape his love interest for once. So many stories fall back to that trope that they forget the dere part of the word. Shin’s obsessive love gets to be displayed as love instead of just obsessive.
