maybe you should reflect on why it made you feel that way :) it’s important to acknowledge and appreciate things that don’t benefit you (in this case, explaining idioms which are a massive help to non-english native readers) while also realizing that it doesn’t mean to offend you just because you aren’t the target audience. this might stem from a sense of insecurity or ego. no hate tho!
my comment was triggered by the panel of the esper being depicted with wings and being referred to as a "predator" and there was a note explaining what the word predator means. the handholding is too much and the overexplanation takes away from the art.
also, people can look up things themselves. it's a part of learning.
