stopped at chapter 70
this is hellish. from start till current all she has done is suffer at the hands of men. it's constant objectification and abuse and when her pillars of support try to save her, that disgusting man she's engaged to holds her down again despite everything he kept putting her through.
I don't know how to handle much more of this redundant plot or if it's even worth it. This should have ended the moment she escaped with her maid, and the duke should have slit his own throat and died out of guilt and repentance.
