Rather than dislike, it seems more like the story is going in circles and getting nowhere. It’s the same cycles over and over again. While the background into the characters is good to have the story writing is a mess and all over the place. I know the author is trying to draw parallels between now and the past but, it’s being done so messily. The mystery and intrigue it used to have and how it used to draw you in, is no longer the case.
Okay but here's the thing, he's not a good character either he's not a good anything. This chapter was just reinforcing what we already knew about him....he made bad investments and put the both of them in debt. later we find out he made the investments under HER name so that dipsh*t put the burden on her for an investment he didn't even talk to her about. This didn't show them mutually falling out...all it showed was more details into the scam we already know he fell victim to. This was a filled episode i wish the author would move along to taeha's revenge which is the point of this story
tae ha has barely any character info and he is the ML. that's why this feels kind of weird, all this focus on mincheol is so unnecesary since we already know how he was at a younger age and we clearly witnessed his downfall. to know the exact scheme he fell for doesn't do absolutely nothing for the actual plot.

I see a lot of people don't like this chapter but I enjoyed it. This is what makes a good story. This is character development and this is part of the whole backstory concept of what led up to Mincheol and Na Haesoo falling out! Mincheol is not a good guy, but he is a good character and has more than one side. It leaves a certain uneasy feeling in your heart seeing how the two of them were and how they are now. It's a shame, they had hopes and dreams like anyone would at that age and time in life.
