I'm glad I found this with all 4 volumes complete because otherwise it would have frustrated me royally. the art is cute as it is always is in yaoi mangas. the first volume is nothing much to write home about honestly (2 nepo babies with a bland relationship and no chemistry whatsoever? please. the exit is that way), frankly it was just an introductory background explanation to get the story rolling for the main couple who were rightfully the protagonists for the rest of the 3 volumes.

the plot was alright, nothing revolutionary as it plays into a lot of character archetypes and cliche tropes BUT it definitely classifies as comfort read material when you wanna read something which is predictable with low stakes, and a linear storytelling with a simple plot garnished with just enough drama to keep the average bl reader engaged. (no hate, just observing)

my only complaint is the redundant dialogue. all that text felt too on the nose (also a bit haphazardly scattered? cause that transition between inner thoughts and spoken lines was a bit annoying to follow along). the sad sappy stuff was getting repetitive to the point it felt like the author was emphasizing that thing over and over again cause they had nothing else to bank on (which is true lets be honest).

for me personally it was a one time read, but maybe i'll come back if this gets completely wiped from my memory. rating it 3.5/5 rounded to a 4.

for anyone curious, yes it is indeed 2:38 am when i am writing this comment.
