I'm of the same opinion. Sadly not many people agree with this in the chat
riiight? i kind of also think that maybe teach "accidentally" killed his father after maybe saving him from hurting himself because of his sleepwalking situation. Although he said that he only experience it after being in the town but what if he's like that before but not aware of it.
Could be, teach was found alone in the house by Guwon so I don't think he was around many people other than his father and even if he was as one of his nightmares shows many people asking "why did he do it?". Maybe he killed or harmed some of them in his sleep or psychosis whichever it is and his mind heavily suppessesd it, thus the sleepwalking and potential homicidal tendency during sleep now that his body feels safer.
I think the nightmares and sleepwalking are a result of him killing his father, I mean he literally tried to cut his hand which could mean he resent himself for killing him. Most probably the dad tried to harm him or something and he ended up killing him. I believe Guwon is good and didn't harm anyone without a clear reason.
Reading back it seems Guwon fell for teach around ch15 when he agreed that he was also a little off in the head.
Also I 100% think teach killed his own father
