BRUH NO! I think the brother wants her to get her shit back together (if in a rude manner of speaking). But since he saw her glory days and then had to see her worst while he was still prepubescent, i think it affected him greatly about how his role model just crashed ti nothing. It’s like all his expectations were nothing but a distant memory. But since his parents arent doing anything towards their relationships, the brother doesn’t correct his treatment to his sister, and slowly he’s turning all the expectations that he has for her to turn things around into resentment.
The FL was basically his idol. It’s just sad that no one in the family tries to acknowledge that the FL srsly needs professional help—so the borther simoly interprets his sister’s actions as a hopeless bum who has no intention of being the “older sister” figure. You know, aside from her being exceptional in the past, society places expectations for older siblings to be better

At first I thought he wanted her to "get better", but seeing how he's acting lately it's just confusing. He's horrible with her >:(
