but she does try to leave him (running away) and being a spy for her country in the second and third lives, so I would say that she came to conclusion that the piece of trash needs to die or go away pretty soon… this life is another attempt and i feel like the plot does make a lot of sense but if it’s not your cup of tea then there’s not much i can say
The crown prince was pretty manipulative. Even in her 4th live she almost believed his words. So it's not surprising to think that in the first two lives he was acting as a nice boyfriend and only in the end didn't act anymore. I think she believed that she could escape her death by still working under him as she knew from her lives that the other empires never actually stood a huge chance against the crown prince.

fwiw the military school is a blip of a moment and then there's a 5 year time skip. Arsinoe is actually a really clever character, and I hope you gave this story a few more chapters before dropping!

The world is progressive enough for a woman to enrol into military school but she still needs the sword/ Im guessing ML to clean her dirty laundry and going to military school was the answer to that?
