Secondly, based on how the mc didnt want to listen about the gassip about ilay during the camping chapter its pretty obvious the author wants us to feel bad about what ilay is going through when he is causing it. Of course people will want to avenge their loved ones that u have killed or left near deaths door. Like the facility doesn’t really care about ppl dieing obviously but no one was forcing u to do that.
