Personally, I DONT think it was a misunderstanding. In that moment, she probably did hate him just for a little while. People can have 'complex' feelings and I imagine she probably really was mad at him, but was also gracious enough to let it go knowing he wasn't being malicious(just careless).

Honestly, its amazingly mature of Haneul, to separate her immediate feelings of hatred from her perspective of Mincheol as a valuable friend and the accidental nature of the incident

    idts she meant Mincheol when she said "I hate him". her hatred would've shown if she did, she must've meant the car driver

    Hmm it's possible? Altho i kind of doubt it. The driver ended up being a very small part of the incident while Mincheol really was lashing out and taking out his insecurities on her.

    Haneul has shown she's pretty good at looking at the whole picture, rather than just individual events. For ex, her confidence that Mincheol likes her despite initially shutting her down.
