There's a lot definitely people eho don't read the novel miss out on good plot
I've been replying to this series topic some might think i'm crazy but honestly i just really like the novel also because i am noisy. Well where do we start?
So first they skip the whole kim gapjun establishing his kingdom and the explaination of the whole gang there. Right, so they either go back to their kingdom or stay at a newly establish kingdom which where kim gapjun the monkey race do and the whole gang follow him adding up a couple of other side characters. We have the beast kid, the fish man, the salary man, sehyun(so sorry i forgot their name) all follow kim gapjun and became a temporary resident, this one is because since all three of them already have a kingdom of their own they cannot become a permanent resident in kim gapjun kingdom or else their kingdom cease to exist. Add to the gang is the fish man who since worried anything could happen, probably after listening to sehyun advice, follow the gang and became a temp resident as well. They bonded there at the kingdom. Working and going into the tower to collect materials. All while the fish guy fish for food at the sea.
They mostly almost die but at the stakes of their own skills improving. Moving forward a lot of other player dies in kim gapjun kingdom and were then replaced with a monkey resident given by the game. However racism started and the monkey starts killing other player in the tower under the premise of them dying while collecting materials and calling them weak. Same case happen to sehyun and the beast kid while they were incharge of gathering materials in the tower. But they survive and the plot thicken. The kid however on the verge of dying and in need of a strong elixir to survive, sehyun gave his kingdom a visit and again almost die but he met zernon who later caught by luhak and imprison (basically what happen in the manhwa but they change the timeline and setting when sehyun infiltrated his storehouse and instead of eunchong it was actually zernon in the novel) back at it beast kid survive and sehyun gets his healing skills unlocked.
Before that knowing he is weak he is in need of weapon so he went and met jeha there which is non existent in the manhwa. Jeha later follow the gang everywhere.
Well things escalated after that between the monkey and player and they fight, got caught and there is where the manhwa started where they were locked up in a small house together with other players. There sehyun who since have gotten a healing skill, healed hui i think and met with the other character which i forgot their name. However he is actually a very important character moving forward let's call him the engineer because that is how he helps others later on. The both of them also follow the gang.
Later well same goes to the manhwa but theres too many details changed up between the two production that i gave up and try to forgot whatever happens in the manhwa. To start they did not have sex until the side story. The timeline of the events happening is all messed up. And i have nothing but complaints after this. Anyway. I was actually a bit excited writing this at the start but now that i'm trying there's just too much...
I really like the novel too. So glad I read it. So much depth compared to the manhwa. Now reading for the second time
Right! And the novel is actually pretty short compared to other webnovel so the progession of the story is quite fast and i love it even more because of it.

Sure! But I'm into mainstream novel I'm so sorry tho i have no interest in writings that I am not familiar with so i often read novel that have several production on them. You can try novels from mxtx if you haven't(sorry if you have read them though) her danmei novel is quite fun to read. (Tian guan ci fu, scum villain self saving system and mo dao zu shi) A lot of scary elements and she love to write her plot into a full circle.
