EXACTLY YOU GET IT!! it really hit him on the head when taeui said that the feelings that xinlu once had for him was now replaced by the obsession of wanting to see ilay’s downfall bcs now all of them knew that taeui is ilay’s weakness. i feel like that’s such a clean writing to cut anything off between two of them but imagine if xinlu didn’t pull that shit? taeui won’t get allat afterwards ugh

the fact that xinlu took total advantage of ilay’s hard bombing work still make me baffled. he really swiped in the moment ilay got busy clearing the way and threatened taeui as well afterwards, destroying whatever patience that ilay had atm. for what happened on taeui after that, i would say 70% is xinlu’s fault, 20% on taeui and 10% on ilay. this novel is not good for my mental health i’ll chose diasim and holy passion over and over again.
