I think the problem is it just seems thrown together. It was more chemistry between him and his "stalker" than him and Varia. It was just like look 3 interactions...now look their in love. Hell her and Leo have more chemistry than they do. I mean after that big build up their romance should be written better than this.

Right, the way the author had Leo building up this "love story" it just felt like it was gonna be so romantic and heart warming...then we got this. It's a really big let down tbh
For everyone who are heartbroken we all knew from the start he is a male lead ! So of course that was bound to happen to be with the Female Lead = Varia .. that was just question of time
Leo said multiple time she was some year before the beginning of the novel .. and now the novel have started ..
But I think it’s good Leo need a mom and I like the chemistry.. it’s cute and light .. Leo not a kid anymore I hope after the romance arc of her dad we can see her romance arc with the « princess »
