i love how this horror was them going through things together. 99% of the bl horror out there is because one of the characters is the culprit of everything. this was actually so refreshing. an ACTUAL horror, but with romance included… not a “dark romance” or anything like that
I agreee! I love that there is an actual entity and more of a man vs supernatural thing and not the usual twist where its another character that's the villain (altho thats somewhat included in the story) but having followed an actual horror slasher and the cliches is really good. Also, the way the main characters are compatible not just in a romantic way but the way they are in synched with each other and the way they think throughout the whole ordeal is so good cuz they're actually both useful compared to other stories where one is useless and sht
Normalize good horror bl stories with solid plots, fleshed out storylines, dynamic characters, and a good amount of smut because this was perfect. (Heavy on the horror bl genre)
Also, I think this is the first bl i've read where the main characters used a lot of "I love you" than "like". Ive read lots of bls from mangas, manhuas, and manhwas for years now but its refreshing to read where the mcs are openly declaring their love for each other SO MANY TIMES and EXPLICITLY by using "I "love" you" and not just "I "like" you." Overall /
