My point was people say the backstory is so Micheal get some "sympathy point" but they probably got that wrong and it would just be a part to understand the story in itself, and yet you reply by doing exactly what I was pointing out. Not agreeing with you doesn t make someone a cheater.... I'm pretty sure the majority of the reader who are really enjoying the story (not just the art and smutt) want to know what happen to FL what about the unborn baby and so on, but the other few (who aren t here for the story plot) are the one doing the noice in the comment section. Like it or not Micheol is the "bad guy" and one of the main character. This is clear from the start as we also get his side in the story and his relation with Ari. If you are bother by that maybe this is not a story for you. Maybe you are just to emotional or not mature enough to enjoy that story as it is.

Showing Micheol "side" and what happen in their relationship is not about "giving him sympathy and be oki with what he did"!! Showing how he was with FL allowed you to understand why did she stay with him for this long or else you would have blame FL to be too naive and dum.. you wouldn't understand why she doesnt want a relationship with a younger guy except for "age difference" and not because "a younger guy can be full of hope meanwhile doesn t know what is good for themself" you would just say "shut up Naesoo and go sleep with him" Showing you that he is being manipulative with Ari add to the story, because clearly she will get a scene with FL at some point. The more you see him like an asshole the more satisfaying it will be when ML will act with his shabby set up. Without all of Micheol part you would just be like "I don t care about ML revenge for FL". This is not about "sympathy" at all this is not about "Micheol is a victim of what happen too look he was a good guy" if you have just a little bit of "knowledge in life" you would understand that some event can trigger and change you and this doesn't make you less of an asshole this is just showing you the root of a problem in someone's life, it would help you to understand why FL is how she is right now. I can bet that if Micheol wasn t one of the main caractere all the comment section would have a hard time with FL and would call her the stupid one to "run away" from ML....

Indeed he is the bad guy daa, but yeah he need to be a part of the story or else no issue no story. Do you know how "stories" works? You think you can just write something like 'once upon a time everything was fine nothing goes wrong and everyone were happy"? This is a conclusion, not a story, so yeah you will have some "issues" and the story will "revolve arround them'... so in this story that mean some chapter about Micheol. Maybe you re just too young to understand how to read a story without being emotionaly involve in it.
