I started reading this a few years ago. Onyx and Keane’s story was okay, I enjoyed reading through the dramatic bits. But then suddenly Axel and Kai are getting together?? Axel’s straight and homophobic (though I’m sure the author will make him have internalized homophobia that he’s projecting to people around him) and he’s stuck in an awful situation that could get him hurt or worse. Kai, deciding that he wants to experiment with his sexuality decides to use Axel’s money problems to get sex. Like, am I the only one who thinks this is so disgusting? Kai is making Axel basically sell his body to him, and I’m supposed to expect this to turn into a romance? Is THIS the romance part?!?? I mean I’ll still be reading it because I can’t drop this after 200 chapters but it’s still very disgusting.
