This was really good. People are complaining and unless one minor SA scene (where neither people are in their right mind) will trigger you, it's definitely worth the read. It was a really interesting story that was well executed. The world building was just the right amount, the characters were 3 dimensional, and the plot was very captivating. I'm really surprised I had never heard of this before because it was really enjoyable. I stayed up all night reading it.
Spoiler: As for the SA, The one SA scene between the main couple was barely an SA scene, MC was against it because it was scary feeling himself lose control. He had lost his memories (but remembered that he was in love with the top) and was afraid of the "overwhelming warmth" he felt from being intimate with the top despite knowing it was really important not to be with him (he was trying to leave to save the tops life but couldn't remember why he was leaving). Yes, I would still consider it SA since the MC said no. BUT, even more than the MC wanting to be with the prince, the prince was NOT in his right mind. His heart was bitten, he was cursed to lose his mind the longer MC was away. That's why the spirit said it was almost done as MC was running away. THAT was the true prophecy. The prophet misinterpreted it because of all the other visions he saw and tried to enforce his own later, but that is why the prince's "heart" was bitten, not his eyes. The scene was also pretty essential to the plot as it showed the severity of the prince's madness, the strong emotions of the MC, and the intimacy is what triggered the MC's memories to come back (that was the whole reason the prince was so pushy)
So, ONE scene where top is essentially drugged and the bottom is saying no from being overwhelmed and needing to deny his love to protect the top. EVERY other scene was completely consensual though. He literally ASKS for consent their first time! Yes, the top becomes obsessive after he's been "bitten" but he never mistreated the bottom and actively fights that obsession in order to make MC happy. I'm honestly confused as to why this comic is getting ridiculed for SA when MORE than most comics out there are FAAAAAAR more twisted.
