Like a fanfic? Different story and setting with the same main characters?
Or side stories with the main characters instead of the side characters?
Or a "spin off" where it's another story but it's just a continuation of the MCs?
I think some authors do something similar. Like author of low tide in twilight did au side stories, where they kinds of swapped places. But yeah it’s almost always just extras

i wish the author would make another story and with the same main characters, why is it like that, that no authors seems to do different stories but using the same pair of main characters? that´s something i have been wondering for a while. not that they must, i just wonder why no one seems to have ever done that before, it´s always side stories.
