Yeah def, Frst of all knw that Grayson just mimics everything, he has no thinking of his own and no sense of judgement and no emotions to that extent that he doesn't even realised his own pains. But he wants to see everyone happy so tend to help others a lot but cs of his lack of understanding boundaries he often unintentionally harms others. And his only motive is to find a love who would trust him and stay by his side no matter what just like their parents. So he gotta knw that his soulmate is related to fires so he got himself hired as a firefighter to find his soulmate where he got entangled with Dane. Their interactions weren't friendly at all but with time they keep getting involved with eo. Grayson has doubts that Dane might be an omega so he wanted to check that. That's how their story developed. Its a slow slow burn.
