I can understand that and the rage is justified if you only see this frm kmiyc pov. But there is whole lore of this universe which is way more complicated n deep. Author didn't write 6 novels sharing the same concept for no reason. All are interconnected with shifting povs. And all the incidents aren't even explained in dmyic, they are explained in their parents story. (Also red hair baddie is more baddie than Grayson He was literally pmo n there's redemption for him not for Grayson. Grayson just learned throughout his story)
Ngl 99% of "this guy doesn't deserve a happy ending" will be begging the author to give this man a happy ending Even I started with that mentality
