I’m glad he decided that this was not the hill he wants to die on. I do think she should have told him anyway and just dealt with the fallout but I do understand her reluctance to do so. As for him, he’s been so controlling in their marriage that I think he actually DOES need to learn that his wife is his equal not his subject and that he can’t force her to dance to his tunes all the time and if she wants to be silent on something, that’s her right to do so. He can’t force decide what he will do if and when she is silent on a matter he wants to hear about but he can’t force her. I hope they actually absorb the lessons here.
