Can you tell me the ending?? Cuz I just realized, I don't think I read why they would do something like this, like do they like him that much?!? Cuz there's no way a sane person could do those things to someone they like, like what's all of their deal?!? Especially that black hair dude that Mc is so head over heels with like bruh, I'm just so confused they would do that to their friend. It's been so long since I read this and stopped cuz. I can't take it, just as worse as No Reason. Are all the characters here just have something wrong in their heads??! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
To be honest you can put it as that LOL but the ending overall is basically, Haewon wasn't able to escape from the abuse.
He had attempted su1c1de and was presumed dead, Haeyoung only found out about it through the news and it turned him into a broken mad man drowned in guilt, all three of them did. Haewon on the other hand had survived said attempt and was living off far away to run away from Haeyoung. Yet in the end, Haeyoung manages to track him down, apologized while sobbing and Haewon eventually forgives and goes back to him.
You can say that Haeyoung is more tame and calm but definitely still as abusive, though only when Haewon does something that triggers him. So Haewon is still walking on egg shells whenever around Haeyoung.

While it indeed is a disgusting story, it's a great representation of SA victims, tremendous abuse and manipulation. While there's really no development at all, I quite liked the ending (not gonna go into detail cause spoilers for new readers), it truly just shows the impact of an experience to a person, false love that leads you to genuinely just give up everything, even your life for someone and constantly lose against both yourself and said person. Or maybe I'm just a gooner ngl hi love u haewon bb kys soon
