Any reasonable person would therefore keep their distance and try to lie to themselves about their feelings. Especially someone as traumatised as him who feels tortured about caring about people.

Ml is under a curse he NEEDs to hate them, the more he lobes them the more he'll want to kill them.
Its more complex than just plain neglect.. thats why it was well written. ML is actually a loving person, emotional. FL is the same they are soulmates bound by curses and mind control.

Everyone is loving them but literally the ML is the worst. Regardless of the situation with his wife he neglected his own daughter. Plus he talked about discarding his wife and daughter, just fucking divorce her you worthless piece of shit. Not to mention the FL is a doormat for not fighting back when he refused to believe AND signed that dumbass contract when she should’ve tried something else. Their family isn’t “cute” like everybody is saying in the comments honestly story should’ve just continued without the ML and just focused on the mother and daughter dynamic. He’s so unnecessarily there and the “enemies to lovers” trope they’re attempting is so poorly done. This whole story is BORING. Don’t waste your time.
