Looking at chapter 21 the ML instead of wanting a friend, it feels more like he wants a trash bin for his emotions. He knew Mc's feelings and deludes himself that the Mc doesn't love him anymore because of how much of a trash he is, just to keep up this facade of a friendship. It's like he leads the Mc on, that's why he couldn't move on. I hope if there is a regret arc it won't be done with just 2 or 3 chapters. The Mc had to see from the closest position the ML' s promiscuousness while he himself lost all his firsts with ML. I hope the ML will have to suffer some misunderstanding like after they break up the Mc is with someone else like a 2nd ML or something.
Honestly what I want the most is when their conflict breaks out, when the Mc feels like he has had enough with the ML, he reveals that the ML was his first time to make him understand how much of a trash he was.
Being in love with someone since middle school and having to witness the one they love constantly change partners while they remain loyal as a friend is seriously pitiful. I pity the Mc. I don't wish for anyone to go trough this kind of unrequited love.
