I promise you, Grayson's story is somehow has a better plot (not that I dislike this one, Grayson's story is just on the hilarious and silly part of the whole family dynamic) oh and his lover is Dane Striker.
Sadly I love Grayson he is my most fav from the Miller family, The novel is based on Grayson pov so u might be able to understand him well from his pov on what and why he did those.
His actions were truly detestable towards chase but Grayson doesn't know a single emotion so he is just trying to play a prank but doesn't realise how traumatizing the prank was. I would say he is kinda a character who want to protect and be beside his siblings but doesn't know how to do it.
I won't spoil much just try his novel once u will like him in my opinion
I haven't read the novel too but apparently, Grayson is not a disgusting mf we all think he is. He genuinely wants to help but since he is apathetic, he don't know whether his "help" is a good thing or a bad thing. From what I read, there was a scene in the novel where Grayson saw a kid that was locked up in a room and instead of letting the kid out, he stayed there inside so that the kid won't be alone bcoz in his mind, if he let the kid out, the kid will be in more trouble, so yuhh. Idk if u get it, but yeah I hate Grayson with all my heart too but when I read that, it kinda change my perspective on Grayson.
understanding someone n loving them are diffrent tho just because hes apathetic doesnt mean everything he did justifyed like loving him certianly is a choice

But what if the person in question has real psychiatric problems? Of course it's justified, because they're not responsible for themselves. Unfortunately, his family is so complicated that they didn't realize Grayson has alexithymia. So he's out there committing stupid acts with many people and thinking he's helping.

I won't justify his actions but just to let u know, he is not as bad as a character people make him out to be, due to his trait he has a lot of problems Mentally and No emotional feelings
