hi! i just finished reading the whole novel. I know it's painful to read those parts where he absolutely become an asshole, me too was so annoyed! but later in the novel he gets better and there's his grovelling arc! It will be explained further so try to give it a chance or try to skip the uncomfortable parts. I swear, it's good!

I agree! Definitely gross and wrong to read, not redeemed. The choking! I couldn't believe they went back from the choking. Also, he just flips from "I'll be her servant to" to "fuck that, I'll just be a killer in my mind and without her knowing." Crazy! I'm dropping, even though sometimes manga differ from their novels.

not to be rude or anything. but what chapter in the novel did Chae-woo “rape” Lee-yeon? Because I’ve read the novel three times and I don’t remember seeing anything like that within the Novel unless I accidentally skipped over it when I was going to the next chapter lol.

Because everything so far between the two of them in the novel is consensual even the 1st time they do it. I’m a bit confused by this

I think… you misunderstood that chapter lol. She didn’t want him to stop intentionally. she was feeling good and wanted him to stop because she was feeling good. Kwon Chae-woo doesn’t sexually assault Lee Yeon in any way. I understand that the scene can be misinterpreted by what she’s saying and the actions of Kwon Chae-woo but she was feeling good in that moment.

I apologize if this sounds rude I’m just giving out information from what I’ve read. What you’re saying is kind of misleading to those that have read the novel. The only real bad thing he did to Lee Yeon was choke her almost to death but he didn’t harm her in ‘that’ way.

And, no, you're mistaken. If someone says "don't" it's not code for continue until I like it. It's a terrible trope for "no" to mean that she's overwhelmed, but really wants more. She said she didn't want to and he should've stopped and confirmed that she wanted to continue.
