Hope it gets better for you. I read this years ago and also find it a bit like overreacting but re-reading this now when I got a friend who stutter, I get where you come from. We almost went friendship over because I told them it was annoying and hard to take which caused a misunderstanding because I was not careful with my words. (I have a pretty blunt personality) Reading it in fiction and experiwncing it in reality is diff. I said annoying cos of how people look at them like it's abnormal when they're talking and hard to take cos my inner self want to stab those judging eyes but I have to remain calm. Like fuck, it's a condition. It's not like you wanted to stutter. It's only weird and maybe bad (by individual standards) when you know nothing.

I also have a stutter and it does get frustrating to the point of tears and high anxiety so i relate to Ruri. Maybe other commenters can't relate and just find it annoying. The other tropes in this are pretty manga fiction cliche but aren't really bothersome imo
