I had that problem too, the best i could do was set my alarm pretty early (at 8/9 am) and keep myself busy (doing exercise, walking...) and before sleep try to read a little (not manga but books) so your eyes will be tired. ( I recommend you to take a relaxing tea while reading, so it may help you feel in peace) and then go to sleep soon, at least at 10 pm. Put away your phone so you cant check on it. This may help you a little. Good luck!!(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I think you mean insomnia. Try not to think too much and always eat protein. (it helps with the mind) drink plenty of milk. Or you're one of those people with their mind's telling them to sleep but the body thinks it had enough rest.

I always change my ways depending on my mood:
    1. Maybe take a long walk at the park or clean the house. Exhaust yourself and let the sweat out from your system.
    2. Force myself to wake up real early and then keep myself busy.
    3. Hibernate. Sometimes but not always, I force myself to sleep longer until my body give up resting. It could mess up my schedule for a week.
    4. I think about sleep two hours before my sleeping time. Sleep sleep sleep, manipulating my mind to get sleepy

Sometimes I need less sleep and feels it's already sufficient. Then next day, I also will desperately need longer sleep or my brain won't function. I just keep coping with my body status and drink a lot of water.

a lot have tips about nutrients and goals and stuff like that and mine are just some simple "lifehack" I made for myself that works on me, so I hope this would still help you! ^^

What I do is I imagine my favorite characters doing anything. What I mean is I can imagine them doing anything i want, or like imagine your favorite manga, play it in your head or make scenarios with your favorite characters in your head. This always works for me, I just start thinking then bam! im in bliss. I hope this helps.. Its really just something i found out over many sleepless nights myself so idk if its that useful to other people, but i have asked others and they said they did that too so...

    Hope this helps!~

Hmm what do you mean by "Or you're one of those people with their mind's telling them to sleep but the body thinks it had enough rest." ?

I did try to sleep but my eyes just don't want to sleep, I mean even though my body was really exhausted, my eyes just won't shut down (/TДT)/

I can really get it cuz i had the same problem....even if i took sleeping pills on doctors prescription i became hyper active...so i have to take pills which reduces manic depression....my point is if this problem persists it can hinder ur performance so either you should meditate or look for a doctor^_^

Sprinkel rose water on a piece of towel. The more of rose water the better outcome. I even wet the towel and then put it on my pillow and smell it. The only reason I have to woke up in the middle of night is just to pee.

Hey well first off congratulations on trying to fix your schedule since I know it can be so complicated. I personally don't recommend the sleeping pill route since your body can get used to the pills and it can become harder for you to sleep without them, I experienced this myself and have been currently trying to get my sleep back in order without pills which is quite challenging and not too fun to go through, aha. >_< And I live at home and have no job so I totally get how it can be hard to fix your schedule compared to other people. My suggestion would be to try to tire yourself out with some exercise during the day. Even just walking helps. At night when you're trying to fall asleep, try not to let your mind get too full of negative thoughts or anything that would keep you awake. I usually listen to a radio talkshow while drifting off (listening to people speak helps me sleep, but music wakes me up, some people prefer calm music though). White noise helps. I keep a fan in my room but there are also YouTube videos you can use. Keep your pillow low, if it's too high up, that can wake you up. And also this might sound weird but if you associate your bed with things like anxiety and being unable to rest, don't keep tossing and turning on there. Sometimes going to the couch and laying down there puts me to sleep faster. I've found that this helps me out a lot but I guess it depends on the person. Good luck, you've got this!
