I too felt it became a bit weird at one point
Like why does a prince need to inherited the dukedom? Isn't Karl completely fine? Won't he get married and have children of his own?
It's almost like their whole life should be spent to make the heroine shine brighter

I'd believe it if they said it's some charm magic controlling them and nothing more
It's almost unhealthy and disturbing how their whole world revolves on the mc... Like, are they just there to be static and soulless? I get it, their making up with the 5yrs they've lost and the abuse the mc went thru, BUT! It's really disturbing....
