Right? I don't mind new characters being introduced to the story but I do miss when the core was just the Okarun and Momo duo, with Turbo Granny and Seiko as their guardians/mentors. I feel like the story was at it's strongest at the beginning, you feel more connected to the characters and look forward to their development. Now, especially with the recent arc, it all just feels so discombobulated. I don't feel as connected to the characters as much, TG and Seiko being sidelined, the "romance" feels unnecessarily dragged...augh, it's like the story is losing its spark.
Right! I thought their dynamic is going to be similar to my childhood animated show “regal academy” but I guess not.
The manga was great at the beginning when it was just ken and momo. I was hoping it stay that way for awhile but I welcomed the new friends joining in regardless. But man! This one rn is just drama.
