I have no qualms when he fell in love with the teacher, we all have older crushes when we are younger (i mean i do lol) and as you said he's 50+ so it makes sense he'll fall for someone around his mental age...however, i got iffy when the teacher is opening chances for them to get together because in her eyes, he's still a kid and that's another story ╥﹏╥
