I know that as long as I am healthy my body shape doesn't matter but there are times when I stop reading certain manga because the character's body made me insecure about my body but if they have a really really good plot then I sometimes grit my teeth and finish reading it.
do any of you guys feel like you know that your body shape and size doesn't matter if you're not healthy, but still get so jealous when you see someone with like perfect boobs and a narrow waist?
i feel like the narrative around our bodies is so annoying bc like it's hard to accept yourself when the fricking racist eurocentric beauty standards disparage anyone with hips and features that don't perfectly fit into really patriarchal standards.
what do you guys think about how women are constantly insecure about something in their body?
