It was poetic justice that Ryan was poisoned by his own creation. Whether anyone else agrees or not that is a fact. I would like to know who Logan is as a person. I wanted more depth on his background. Everyone else had a backstory except for him. His hearing was hypersensitive and he moved around the mansion like a ninja. Even Ryan trusted him enough to rely on him. He was no ordinary servant. Did Cecelia suspect Ryan had feelings for his sister? She said, “Ryan has a thing for blondes”. I hated how bipolar and biased he was towards Kyon but when it came out that Christoph was the one who drugged Lucaon and provided the VS Solution that took his family he was passive AF. Yet he wanted to tear Kyon’s head off for not wanting to leave Lucaon. If Lucaon (and maybe Sihan, although I don't think he would actually care he’s cold-hearted) found out that Ryan and friends were the ones who created the VS Solution, how would he react? I really would have liked to see that. Ryan got off too easily for my liking. Are Ryan and Cecelia’s eyes red because they have lived for 500+ years?
Every time I re-read this story I feel differently about the characters and plot each time. Usually I'll feel the same way when I re-read a story but this one is different. It's interesting.
