i don’t think so. it was probabaly a meme because the only 2 ‘mls’ have some tension that BL fans might like but it’s not a yaoi at all

It's not yaoi because rogers looks exactly as the ancestor and he didn't love him or had sexual feelings for the person, more like a possesive way, and he saw him as a toy, his favorite one. Rogers was pure evil.
