The funny fact being I liked Grayson story - Desire me if you can more than Kmifyc, Grayson story is longer and there are lore of side stories yet to be released for him, like them both having kids and going on a cruise trip it's literally one of the happiest ending of ZIG universe Novels. I also think it's one of the longest novel of the author. But yeah nonetheless it's actually an amazing story, I absolutely loved both Grayson and Dane in it, you should try it. You can understand his pov much better
And also Grayson is Green flag in his Novel and Dane (red haired) is the Red flag lol. They both solve eo other problems in the novel like Dane can't love anyone in his life actually learns to love because of Grayson and Grayson doesn't feel emotions starts to learn emotions because of Dane. They are so well balanced

There is no sudden personality shift, the story is about how both Dane learns to love and Grayson learns emotion slowly, it's very slowburn.
Grayson is also like this itself in his story but u will understand his pov and y he does it
