I feel like if they got rid of the transmigration nothing would change to the story (i'm at ch 30) and the only plot is mc wanting to live long because he doesn't want to die. it's also kinda superficial the way they glossed over conflicts to quickly move on to the next part. But, it's fine to read, the detective aspect is still enjoyable.
