So in latest chapter mc ended up in the ER because of a fever, leading to yet another mc humiliation ritual this time involving handcuffs and a police officer lmfao. Next day, apparently glasses got a job offer in the U.S, the company need asian branch team or something and offered mc to come with him, later the same day he and neighbor finally had dinner at a fancy restaurant which shows the age gap fiercely, then they somehow ran into that one night stand guy from chapter 1, who works there as a waite, neighbor got jealous. Thats all for this week.
Your ex went from wedding announcement to USA proposal, your neighbor went from total stranger to acting like obsessive spouse and already got lifetime plan with you. Everything is moving at a speed of light since 1st chapter, mc must be overwhelmed, I mean, im overwhelmed lmfao
The author shouldve introduced the U.S. transfer plot later, when the relationship between Jiwon and Hyun was more developed, because realistically, at the moment, aside from Haeseongs annoying presence, theres nothing holding him back from advancing his career. Hes a workaholic with no close-knit family and no social life aside from one-night stands except a neighbor he met two weeks ago. Theres nothing tying him down but its not like hes moving abroad in the third week anyway so I guess the author will find a way to give this story more room to breathe because, like you said, right now the pacing feels too tight.

I think todays chapter really cemented my issue with this manhwa — the pacing. The story itself is super fun, but the fact that everything apparently happened within, at most, two weeks is kinda ??? like slow down omg
