Kind of happy she and masa didn't get together in those conditions. I try to be open about age differences but can you imagine introducing her to his parents? "Mom, dad, this is sumire. She's a great person and I love her although she's 40 years older than me and everyone thinks I'm her grandson." Yeah...

So far it does seem like Rei and the heroine are going to end up together. Masahiro and the girl broke up. The girl gave her "energy" to Masahiro, who was sick. So the heroine became old again. Later, it will be discovered that Rei and her fiance were actually together because of arranged marriage. Since Rei adored Sumi so so much, he gave all of his "energy" left to Sumika, which left him nothing (because he gave half to Sumi at first but Sumi gave hers to Masa). After that, Rei disappeared. They were worried because, according to ex-fiance, it had never happened before (losing all energy) so they were not sure about what will happen to Rei after that (like idk he might die). Time skip, and Sumi is working for a production company I think (since she really loves movies). At one party, Masahiro (who is now an employee) and Sumi met. Masa asked Sumi for another chance, but she knows that she loves Rei (or along those lines). One day, he encountered with Rei, but Rei became uhh cruel. He also became a company president. Sumi asked advice to the ex-fiance (or something) (who is married and has a child btw) and it will later be revealed that Rei forgot the important memories he had with Sumi (or more like, it will be tampered). He still remembers Sumi, but not exactly. He knows her, but regards her as a uhh "coward master" or something. Like, it's the opposite for what he regarded her back then (he admired her for her kindness). It was said that it's one of the effects of losing all energy.
