afaik the author posted those chapters of big potato simping over papa wolf as a "fan service" since it's quite common there (?) and they're separated from og story, hence why we don't see it in this chapter. some people also think of small potato and big potato as 2 different people.
+ even on those fan service chapters, papa wolf never reciprocate potato's feelings.

You're not wrong. But I see it as issue with the author too though. They can't have it both with fan service. They should confirm what tf is it even? Half drawing of semi incest and half drawing of father son. I'm waiting for the end chapter as this is just making me confused. What even is going on... I'm happy whichever they pick but the backlash will be harsh if they keep milking both faction. Or maybe they're planning to drag it like 19 days.
I just want to put out there the obvious in this chapter: boss has found a purpose. Back when little potato was LITTLE, boss spent his time laying his life for revenge going all out for his lost adopted brother even hurting himself in the process. Now that potato is big something must've happened in between (which we wont find out until author decides to show it) that changed his perspective. And now he's out here getting hit by cars just to protect big potato from any drugs while in university (which is wow bro please stop diving head straight to danger for kicks). My point being, there isn't even any hint of romance in this chapter just a father's paternal instinct. So why.... O.o (author has really ingrained it in readers mind, i guess)
