While he DOES have narcissistic traits in my eyes, I never thought him to be lying ot trying to manipulate, no. He's being genuine, I'm sure. My problem isn't with him doing it, it's with the author making him do it, because intentional or not it IS manipulative and an abusive move real abusers do. And it's painted in a light to make it romantic, which... Girls, if this happens to you irl don't beleieve this to be romantic... Oh I so agree I’m much older now and I don’t trust men but the yaoi I was reading back in the day was sadly worse than this? Misogyny is deeply imbedded in our culture intentionally from the patriarchy and affects so much of our thought processes and is RAMPANT in bl so many of the most popular bl conceptually is a toxic masculine seme and feminine uke who accepts all the bad behavior and sadly jinx is the epitome of that, I was just analyzing JK’s psyche I’m curious what narcissistic traits he has I see him more as a sociopath/borderline personality disorder I’ve met some narcissist’s and their whole life is focused on victimizing their circumstances and building a controlling narrative of their lives and forcing that story onto those they aim to control. I was hoping for Kim Dan getting a text reminding him what they said at the beach, that he'd support him no matter what. Or granny going through an emergency an him turning up to support Dan. Not this... Basic abuser manipulation tactic of crying while asking the abused not to leave them? That's more of a red flag in my eyes, he's putting his suffering on Kin Dan, like "if you leave me now my life will be over". Abusers do that...
